Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Run Your Own Business
Introduction
The SFEDI Awards ‘Preparing to Run Your Own Business’ qualifications are all about offering a flexible approach to learning and preparing for self employment.
This qualification is for those who think they may wish to start a business at some time in the future and want to complete a comprehensive programme of preparatory learning about all the key aspects of this activity, without actually starting a business. As a level 2 qualification the learning is targeted at self employment where an individual might work independently (e.g. freelance or sub contractor) and within an existing market.
Many of the skills and knowledge developed here would be utilised in starting a business but could also be transferable to the wider world of work.
